military event photography

I’ve been a military reservist for several years and I’ve been told that the only way we could be successful was if we were willing to sacrifice everything that we could to prove ourselves worthy of the position. This is where the military can be a bit more strategic. When it comes to the logistics of getting things done, this is how it is done. That’s where we are right now.

We have to get the pictures, we have to take them, we have to put them on the internet, and by proxy, we have to take ownership of what we’ve done so that others can see them. That means that the next time a large military unit shows up, we have to be prepared to show off our stuff. I think of it as being a little like a celebrity endorsement. We can be a little more visible if we want to be.

In a recent article by a few of our colleagues, we were asked to contribute to a series of stories about military event photography. We were asked to write about the process of getting some shots to the public. The reason for this request was that our own photographer, Dave Miller, had recently lost his job. His last assignment was at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, which was the first unit to be deployed to Iraq in 2004.

With cameras and Photoshop in tow, we jumped into a Black Hawk helicopter to fly over the base and shoot some shots. We were pretty nervous because this was the first time we were shooting for the public. Our camera crew had to fly by Fort Bragg to get a look at the unit so we were very careful not to leave any light footprint of our helicopter. We took off when the base closed.

The unit was also the first unit to be deployed to Iraq in 2004. Back then, our Army was still called the “Navy” for some reason, but the men of the 101st Airborne Division were called the “Airborne,” so we were the “Airborne.

When we were in Iraq and took pictures of the men of the 101st Airborne Division, they were called the Airborne because they had more combat power. This would have been before the Army had to go through a phase where they couldn’t carry rifles and were called the light infantry.

That’s something most people don’t think about when they think of military photography, but it really is possible to shoot great pictures with a little equipment. The key is to make sure your camera is set up so that you can take pictures without having to worry about being shot at from a moving vehicle. Most cameras that can function as a still camera and as a video camera will do just that, but it’s nice to be able to focus on something while you’re shooting at the same time.

Our friend Daniel Vickers is a photographer and author of a number of military books. He says that shooting military events can be even better because, unlike a day at the range, you can shoot from a moving vehicle in a controlled environment.

A lot of military photographers shoot from moving vehicles, but a lot is also said about the importance of taking pictures from a moving vehicle. If you can’t get any shots with a fixed camera, you can always take pictures from a moving vehicle and use that as a reference later. I’ve used this method myself to shoot military events, and it can be a really great way to get a lot of great shots without having to worry about moving a whole trailer full of equipment.

It helps if you can take photos from a moving vehicle. You can take pictures from a moving vehicle from any position, so it’s very useful to have some sort of camera attached. Also, you don’t have to worry about moving either the camera or the camera lens.
